Game development studio Evoplay has announced that it has successfully enacted its emergency contingency plans for its majority-Ukrainian team , with the provider now ready to continue its service following the disruption caused by the last few weeks’ events. 

Since the start of hostilities on 24th February, Evoplay says it has relocated 15 per cent of its staff to Cyprus, and organised working and living facilities alongside its new office, opened in Lviv this week to give additional movements of its team who have chosen to stay in Ukraine. 

The supplier, which has multiple partners, stakeholders and team across Ukraine, says it is regularly donating to causes that Ukrainian people and volunteering initiatives that actively the humanitarian relief effort on the ground. 

The company has also launched a fund for its entire staff, with all Ukraine-based team providing full financial and logistical to relocate to the safest regions of the country. Team wishing to relocate to Cyprus will also be provided with the means to do so. 

A significant portion of Evoplay’s staff has also committed to ing the volunteer and relief efforts, with the studio granting unlimited leave and financial for all those involved in humanitarian efforts. 

The supplier will continue to operate as usual from its new locations across Europe, with its contingency plan set to ensure the studio will continue with its 2022 game development plan without interruption. 

Commenting on the application of these initiatives, Ivan Kravchuk, CEO at Evoplay, said: “As a Ukrainian company at heart, and true advocates of world peace, we can not stand idle at such a challenging time and have pledged to the Ukrainian relief effort in any way we can.
